Why I’m Starting This Substack (And Why Now)
Honestly? I needed a place to be real.
Like really real — messy, raw, chaotic, imperfect, and sometimes a little sweary.
Social media always felt like it needed a filter. YouTube needed editing. Instagram needed pretty captions.
But real life? It's coffee stains, toddler meltdowns, writing doubts, and trying (and often failing) to balance it all without losing my mind or my voice.
Mostly Making It is my way of sharing all the in-between moments: the ones too messy for a curated post, but too important not to talk about.
The truth is — I’m still chasing my writing dreams while raising tiny humans, doubting myself, learning as I go, and stubbornly refusing to quit.

Behind-the-scenes updates on my writing journey (the good, the bad, and the "wtf am I even doing?")
Toddler mom life — both the magical and the meltdown-y

I'm aiming for 1–2 posts per week. Some long rambles. Some short bursts. Always real.
