☀️ One Week Left of My “Real” Job… Then It’s Just Me and the Dream

This is not a drill:
My last day of my full-time job is June 11th.

And from June 12th through July 27th, I’ll be something I’ve dreamed of being for years:
a full-time content creator, author, cozy chaos queen, and small business owner — for a whole summer.

That might not sound like a big deal to some people, but to me?
It’s huge. It’s terrifying. It’s thrilling.
It’s giving “Can I really do this?” energy… followed closely by “Actually yes, I can.”

💼 From Classrooms to Canva, Baby

I’ve worked in education for over a decade. I’ve trained teachers, written curriculum, managed tech rollouts, and made a million professional development slide decks.

And I love what I do.

But for these few precious weeks?
I get to pour all of that creativity and energy into my own dreams.

Writing.
Making.
Podcasting.
Designing.
Planning out new projects (and maybe finishing some, too).
Building this cozy little community right here on Substack.

This summer, I get to try it on.
See how it feels.
Lean into the creative life — even if it’s messy and unpredictable and full of Goldfish crumbs.

🗂️ So What’s the Plan?

Honestly? Chaos. But cozy chaos.

Here’s what I think I’ll be working on:

• Prepping my sweet romance book for its next draft

• Recording more unfiltered podcast rambles

• Creating cozy printables, stickers, and Substack surprises

• Launching CozWeek- My COzy Mystery Readathon (coming soon!)

• Taking naps. Maybe. Probably not.

But mostly: I want to create without pressure.
To show up.
To make weird little things and talk to cool people and write stories that feel like home.
